Often I visit google, gmail, bank website and read online newspaper. Seldom, I visit facebook and netfilx.
Google is, without a doubt, a good website for search any information. I don’t remember when I discovered (I suppose that I discovered in the school). Every day, when I forget anything or I need any information, I look it up in google on my phone or on my notebook.
Also, I like read some online newspapers. Usually, I read first elmostrador.cl because I like the editorial line. I like visit others for contrast the differents perspectives about one issue, so I visit also eldesconcierto.cl and emol.cl. I discovered elmostrador.cl when I studied History in a Pre-University course. Speaking with my teacher about Chilean press, he recommend me visit this website.
Others websites that I visit once a day is my gmail and bank website, because I need it for work.

I recognize that I’m not a tech savvy. I think internet is a good tool for a lot things but also it is excellent for lose the time.

When I started to study Social Work, I bought my first book in the books store of Catholic University. This book was Las venas abiertas de América Latina by Eduardo Galeano. The book was in my shelf all this year. When finished this year, I left the career and I travelled to the north of Chile. I travel in bus a long time and this book came with me. The book is about the history of Latin America since the colonization until the Latin America contemporary times and, it shows the permanent sack of the natural resources from the colonizers.
The book mixes many styles of writing, among which the essay and the novel. This is perfect for me because I was never a good reader of literature.

I very enjoyed because it mead me think different about the history of Latin America. Since this moment I started to interesting a lot for the research about the reality of our continent.

There are many social problems in neoliberal societies. One issue that I consider very important in our country are the pensions. In Chile, most elderly people retire the job with miserable pensions. All one life working and pay contributions but the system operates with individual logic. Everyone have to save itself. During the work life you cant save enough, the result can be awful. Not exist caring logic that allows redistribute the resources or to encourage support between generations.
We must changes the role of the state. Change subsidiary state for that private initiative don’t be the pillar of the system rather than the public initiative.
I believe that this it’s one of the most important issue because it is a basic right and as society we confront the aging of the populations and this process can go increase.

Recently, this topic has began to discuss thanks to social movements against to AFPs. This movement has called many people to the streets to fight to dignify old age.

On the last decades there has been many transformations in politic and economy  that have redefine strongly the work place in the contemporary society.
One of the most important aspect of this structural changes has been the weakness of the workers organizations established during the 20th’s century. This has produced a decrease of political and social power of the syndicalism in most parts of the world.
In it’s place, a new style of business administration has taken relevance, recognized as Human Resources Management and this has put and accent on improving the general productivity of the company.
In this aspect, inside the work place, there are more worries about the commitment of the employees to the company and the development of softer abilities. This news style of management is a part of the big transformation of the work place.

There is not  enough reflexion in sociology about this topic, that research enough of the contradictions that exist in the work relations.

This holidays, I went with my family to Pucon to my uncles house. All days was raining. Bad luck! But we didn´t want stay at home because the south of Chile has a lot beautiful place's. We bought layers of water and decided to went for a walk around the house. We founded incredible narrow path´s. There were walls full of vegetation and flowers and little waterfalls everywhere. We walked two hours for the rocks and only we listened the birds and my little son jumping in the water.
This was a really beautiful experience. The children were very surprised that there were so many expeditions so close by the house. After that, we went every days in search of news path’s.
